Job Opportunity

Position: Cath Lab Technologist

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)

This position involves working primarily in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department as a Cath Lab Technologist. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, particularly during weekends and major holidays.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in various interventional radiology procedures, including, but not limited to:
• Angioplasty
• Aortography
• Embolization
• Thoracentesis
• Stent placement
• Endovascular Interventions
• Maintain sterile fields during procedures.
• Perform patient evaluations and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in a Cath Lab environment.
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • ARRT or CCI RCIS
• Charting Software: Proficient in Epic.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with procedures such as Adrenal Angiography, ERCP, and Mesenteric Angiogram.

Work Schedule

Must be available to work three out of five major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.
