SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM; 30-MINUTE LUNCH; 2 15-MINUTE BREAKS THROUGHOUT THE DAY


TOP SKILLS NEEDED:
- PREVIOUS MANUAL LABOR EXPERIENCE
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE ELEMENTS - THIS FACILITY IS NON-CLIMATE CONTROLLED, AND THEY WILL OFTEN BE WORKING IN THE SUN
- ABILITY TO READ A TAPE MEASURE
- PROFICIENT IN READING AND WRITING IN ENGLISH
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH A WOODSAW IS HIGHLY PREFERRED

JOB SUMMARY: The NOV Fiber Glass Systems facility in San Antonio, TX, is currently hiring contingent Material Handlers for approximately 2 months. The Material Handler will support the manufacturing process through the movement of materials around the shop floor/yard and preparing for shipment to customers while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Rigger - using hand signals
- Ensure load is correctly tied down to prevent damage and load is safe for transport
- Use pneumatic nail gun safely to build dunnage
- Capable of packing orders and confirming counts accurately
- Perform handwritten paper transactions and present them to the shipping office
- Pull finished goods from inventory locations
- Wear appropriate PPE in required areas
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
- Other duties as assigned


SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to work the day shift from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Employee will be regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear
- Standing, walking, Bending/Stooping, and pushing/pulling up to 10 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 10 hours daily
