In this role you will work both independently and on a team with minimal supervision.**Benefits:*** Weekly Pay* Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance* 401(k) with generous company match* Free Basic Life Insurance* Short & Long-Term Disability**Schedule:*** 1st Shift , 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary**Location:**5955 Summit Ave, Browns Summit, NC 27214, USA**Responsibilities:*** Weld structural steel members using (MIG) wirefeed processes* Weld in 3G and 4G positions according to safety-oriented procedures* Read welding symbols and understand testing requirements* Follow proper safety instructions* Work in a team environment* Perform other duties as needed by supervision**Education Requirements:*** Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or related experience as a certified structural steel welder as determined by the plant manager* Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required**Job Requirements/Special Skills:**Specific Structural Welding Skills:* Ability to pass a 3G and 4G weld test using GMAW process on 3/8“ material* Good verbal communication skills with other employees* Positive attitude* Open minded with a vision for continuous improvement* Ability to understand weld symbols and testing requirements* Ability to read blueprintsSpecific Physical Skills:* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs* Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary* Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels #J-18808-Ljbffr
