Administers and interprets tests of hearing. Assesses hearing instrument efficacy. Takes ear impressions and prepares, designs, and modifies ear molds.Essential FunctionsTinnitus evaluations, counseling, and treatmentMonitor patients' progress and provide ongoing observation of hearing or balance status.Fit, dispense, and repair assistive devices, such as hearing aids.Educates patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and continuing care.Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.Cochlear implant evaluations and programmingRequired for All JobsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsDoes this position require Patient Care (indirect/direct)?
