Job Description: Registered Nurse needed for ER department, providing care in a Level I Trauma Center. Candidates must have recent experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in a 20-bed ER with specialized trauma and observation beds.
• Interpret telemonitor strips and collaborate with a team of physicians and mid-levels.
• Participate in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, floating as necessary to observation units and freestanding ERs.

Requirements:

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC. NRP preferred.
• Driver's license verification required to ensure compliance with a 50-mile radius rule. Experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma environments is a must.
• Pass a 90% open book exam during orientation on emergency skills. Artificial nails are prohibited for infection control purposes.
