OBGYN Hospitalist Position

Location: Shakopee, MN

Employment Type: 1.0 FTE (Part-time options available)

We are looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified OBGYN physician to become a part of our OBGYN team at a regional medical center in Shakopee, MN, situated just 20 miles south of the Twin Cities. In this position, you will be responsible for providing in-house obstetrical support in the labor and delivery unit, as well as in the antepartum and postpartum units, including triage areas. Your duties will encompass:

• Performing emergency cesarean sections and managing spontaneous or operative vaginal deliveries.
• Conducting postpartum tubal ligations.
• Rounding on antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients with a focus on cultural sensitivity, individual autonomy, and legal obligations.
• Managing care for patients without an assigned physician and those needing emergency obstetric interventions.

Basic skills in gynecologic surgery, including D&C and laparoscopy, are essential for this role.

Compensation: The pay for this position is set at a flat rate of $191.00 per hour, with adjustments based on role requirements, education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
