Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services - Surgical First Assist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in orthopedic surgeries using robotic technology.
• Participate in a rotational call schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Ensure readiness for emergency C-section procedures as part of the on-call OR team.
• Support patient care by staying in PACU post-procedures during call shifts.
• Maintain hygiene and preparedness of surgical rooms and instruments post-procedure.
• Engage in orientation programs as per shift schedules to ensure optimum operational efficacy.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio license in good standing.
• Experience with ortho robotic surgery preferred.
• Ability to perform duties in both OR and OB-C section environments.
• Prior experience in a similar surgical or hospital environment.
• Ability to comply with emergency on-call response times.
• Willingness to engage in a 13-week contract with potential holiday shifts.
