Food Prep Associate

The Seven Hills School is seeking a diligent and energetic Food Prep Associate to join our culinary team. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:0 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with summers off. The Food Prep Associate is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting cooks and chefs in daily kitchen operations. This role is essential to ensuring that our food is prepared safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Required Skills/Abilities: Wash, peel, chop, and slice fruits and vegetables Measure and assemble ingredients for recipes Prepare basic food items such as salads, dressings, and sauces Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized at all times Properly store food supplies and ingredients Label and date all prepared items Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries Dispose of waste and maintain kitchen cleanliness Follow all food safety and hygiene standards Support kitchen staff and perform other related duties as assigned Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods Capability to walk, bend, and reach throughout shifts Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment Tolerance for heat, humidity, and sometimes cold environments (e.g., walk-in coolers) Comfortable with repetitive motions such as chopping and stirring Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs Join our team and help us deliver fresh, delicious meals to our customers every day! #J-18808-Ljbffr The Seven Hills School
