Host Position

The host welcomes guests and manages seating arrangements to ensure efficient table rotation and guest satisfaction. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests warmly and managing the waiting list.
• Providing menus and answering initial guest questions.
• Seat guests according to table availability and rotation.
• Responding to guest concerns and coordinating with staff to resolve issues.
• Answering phone calls and taking reservations.
• Assisting servers with running food/drinks/pre bussing.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the host stand and entrance area.
• Assisting with other restaurant duties as needed.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have valid food handler's card.
• Must have valid TABC certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift trays as needed.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
