Job Title

RN – CVOR Scrub and Circulate

Key Responsibilities

• Primarily scrub and circulate in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
• Support procedures including Coronary Artery Bypass (primary and redo), aortic aneurysms, AVR and MVR (primary and redo), TAVR, ECMO, and VAD cases
• Apply critical thinking and multitasking skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Participate in ongoing research protocols within the department
• Respond to on-call requirements as needed by the department
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and function as an effective team member in professional departmental activities

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3 to 5 years of recent experience scrubbing and circulating in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Ability to multitask and apply strong critical thinking skills
• Availability for on-call shifts and overtime as needed
• Availability to work required summer and winter holidays per department need

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience with pediatric cardiac cases a plus
