Supervisor, Supply Chain

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Supervisor, Supply Chain to lead warehouse operations in St. Louis on flexible shifts. The role involves supervising material handlers across receiving, shipping, inventory, and distribution functions while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities across inventory, shipping, receiving, distribution, picking, and staging
- Provide shift leadership coverage including weekends/holidays; manage handoffs and communication across shifts
- Direct work priorities for warehouse associates and material handlers; coach performance and support training
- Ensure compliant receiving, inventory control, cycle counts, and variance investigations for accuracy
- Lead picking, kitting, staging, and outbound shipping execution while maintaining cGMP and safety standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years warehouse, logistics, inventory, or distribution experience
- Previous people leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of cGMP requirements and good documentation practices
- Working knowledge of SAP and/or warehouse management systems
- Forklift experience preferred; ability to lift 30 lbs regularly
- Experience in regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, food) preferred
