Additional requirements: Two (2) years of experience analyzing/processing financial or accounting data. Two (2) years of experience in understanding and applying state law and rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Two (2) years of experience in customer service. Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft word and Excel. Two (2) years of experience in compiling and analyzing data.Preferences: Professional experience identifying, analyzing and reviewing accounting system data. Responses to qualifying questions must be clearly supported by the state application and any omission, falsification, or misrepresentation in the answering of the qualifying questions will be cause for immediate elimination from the selection process.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Responsible for reviewing and processing the more complex electronic files which consist of multiple or individual holder reports that require more technical knowledge. Work with the holder to resolve report anomalies. Updates the Unclaimed Property database for holder information as provided on the annual reports received from the holders. The holder information updates include, but are not limited to, the following: holder's address and contact information. Responsibilities also include educating holders on reporting unclaimed property. Being available to answer the ACD customer service line including the Reporting line.
