CNC Programmer (Onsite)

Position Overview Hot Section Module Center is hiring a CNC Programmer to support machining new parts in our Special Technologies business. The role is based in East Hartford, CT and may require up to 20% travel. Essential Duties Develop tooling, process parameters, and controls to create a capable and stable process. Develop, test, and implement programs to machine hardware (milling, turning, grinding, etc.). Create work instructions for development hardware. Perform technology and process development tasks, including first‑piece runs, measurement system analysis, and capability assessments. Implement lean process improvement activities to meet schedule and cost targets. Eligibility & Security Clearance U.S. citizenship required. Applicants must have or be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance. Qualifications Required: Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or related field. 8+ years of applicable experience (or 5+ years CNC programming experience). Experience in CNC machine programming. Experience with milling and turning CAD. Preferred: Proficiency with continuous improvement tools: Process Certification, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, PFMEA, Six Sigma, and/or Red‑X. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
