Job Description

As a Shift Leader, you will support daily restaurant operations by supervising team members, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards. You will serve as a role model for your team while helping drive operational efficiency during assigned shifts. You'll contribute to an environment that values teamwork and quality, ensuring every guest enjoys the delicious food we're known for.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations during assigned shifts
• Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive guest experience at all times
• Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to meet performance expectations and company standards
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure proper shift coverage and workflow execution
• Maintain food quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with company and health regulations
• Assist with onboarding and training new employees, including reinforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and communicate supply needs to management
• Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating as needed
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, register reconciliation, and daily checklists
• Ensure compliance with labor, safety, and operational policies
• Monitor team productivity and provide real-time feedback to improve performance
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and respect
• Assist management with meeting sales goals, controlling costs, and improving overall restaurant performance
• Step in to support any station during peak business periods to maintain service efficiency

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous restaurant, customer service or leadership experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, lifting)
• Reliable and able to work a flexible schedule
