Job Title: Physician, General ENT | Sleep Surgery (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Department: Medicine | Otolaryngology Overview The physician provides licensed medical care, including diagnosis, specialized surgical expertise in treating severe sleep disorders, treatment (including surgery or pre/post‑surgical care where appropriate), case management, and clinical research. The physician manages complex and sometimes unpredictable situations, applying technical, clinical, and surgical skills (where appropriate) along with cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve patients receiving these services. The physician is expected to practice within the established Medical Center and adhere to key results areas of the Medical Center. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care, diagnosis, advanced surgical treatment for severe sleep disorders, and post‑operative management. Manage complex patient cases and maintain clinical research responsibilities. Adhere to medical standards of practice, policies, procedures, and protocols. Required Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Board certified or board eligible in the required specialization Successful completion of a Sleep Surgery Program State of Ohio and DEA licensure required Location: Eye and Ear Institute (0897) Position Type: Regular Shift: First Shift Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
