About the Role:
Tim Sign & Lighting Service Inc is looking for a skilled Sign Installer to join our team in Meriden, CT! This is a hands-on role where you'll bring brands to life by installing and maintaining a variety of signage and lighting systems. Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial signs and lighting systems at customer locations
• Operate aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and other equipment to access elevated installation sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation diagrams
• Perform electrical connections and wiring for illuminated signage
• Ensure all installations meet safety codes, regulations, and quality standards
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site during installations and service calls
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in proper working condition

Requirements:

• Prior experience in sign installation, electrical work, or a related trade preferred
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lift equipment
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to perform wiring tasks safely
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL a plus
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with good communication skills
