Job Description
The Ford Agency is seeking a Business Development Assistant to join a busy corporate business development team at a prestigious DC law firm. This individual will assist with drafting client materials including pitches, presentations, legal directory submissions, and other marketing materials. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a solid foundation in marketing or business development who is looking to make the transition to a professional law firm environment.
Responsibilities Include:
• Draft and prepare marketing materials and presentations for client meetings
• Assist with the submissions process to legal directories including Chambers and The Legal 500
• Assist with event logistics for conferences, seminars, and other meetings
• Communicate with attorneys to stay up to date on their work
• Track and record business development efforts in the CRM
• Assist with other business development projects
Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications
• 1+ years of relevant experience (internships or work experience)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and CRM systems
Compensation:
• $56,000 - $62,000 annually
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
