What You’ll Do As the Lead Toddler Teacher , you’ll create and lead a classroom where children feel safe, loved, confident, and excited to explore the world around them. Responsibilities Planning and implementing engaging, hands‑on learning experiences Creating a nurturing classroom built around curiosity and exploration Supporting children's language, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Building strong relationships with families through open communication Leading daily routines with patience and consistency Mentoring and collaborating with Assistant Teachers Maintaining a clean, organized, welcoming classroom Helping every child feel valued, capable, and successful What It’s Like to Work Here We’re proud of the culture we’ve built. Qualifications This position is for a Lead Teacher. All applicants must meet Pennsylvania Lead Teacher qualifications. A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or another Pennsylvania-approved equivalent) from an accredited college or university is required. Experience working with toddlers (12–36 months) in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is required. Previous experience leading a toddler classroom is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices for toddlers. Reliable, dependable, and professional with excellent communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with the care of young children. Must successfully complete all required Pennsylvania state background clearances and licensing requirements.
