Registered Nurse - Wound Care & Infusion Clinic FT

Description

RN provides patient-centered wound care and infusion services for outpatient and inpatient populations. Responsibilities include wound assessments and treatments, IV infusions, injections, patient education, and care coordination while working under the direction of the Wound Care Nurse Practitioner. Ensures safe, high-quality care in compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Wound Care Certification Preferred

Requirements

Experience, Knowledge and Skill:

• Must hold a current, active Louisiana RN License
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required; wound care or infusion experience preferred.
• Strong IV skills.
• BLS is required.
• ACLS recommended.
• Ability to use a computer and document in EMR system.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Teams and Excel
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
• Must exhibit strong time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good interpersonal/human relations skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good time management/prioritization and attention to details.
