Tech MRI

Job Summary:

The MRI Tech is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires collaboration with medical staff to provide accurate imaging services aligned with patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images following physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from MRI-related hazards.
  
  
• 
  Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately and complete all required reports and records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold active MRI Technologist certification or licensing.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent experience performing MRI scans.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with MRI imaging equipment and protocols.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong patient care and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current knowledge of safety standards and procedures for MRI devices.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as part of rotation.
