Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed intake assessments for new clients to understand their mental health history, current concerns, and goals for therapy.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and objectives, facilitating progress assessments at regular intervals.

• Lead both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Whispering Winds, you will work with a diverse clientele that reflects the rich cultural tapestry of Phoenix and beyond. Our clients range from adolescents to adults and include individuals seeking help for various mental health conditions, such as PTSD, mood disorders, and relationship issues. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their journey toward improved wellbeing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona or the state where you reside.

• A minimum of three (3) years of counseling experience working with clients facing diverse emotional challenges.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients quickly.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred but not mandatory.

• Background working with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in psychotherapy and counseling.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 105,000 based on caseload and experience levels.
