Job Overview 

We are hiring an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at Hackensack Meridian Health – Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy Breast Center performing high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography while assisting with specialized breast imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams following ACR and MQSA guidelines.

• Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, and needle localization procedures.

• Operate 2D and 3D mammography equipment (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis).

• Ensure proper patient positioning, compression techniques, and image quality.

• Complete quality control testing and maintain accurate documentation.

• Document patient information in Epic and PACS systems.

• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience.

• ARRT (R) certification.

• ARRT Mammography (M) certification.

• Active State Radiologic Technologist License.

• Experience with digital screening and diagnostic mammography
