Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours weekly. Four weekend shifts required in a four-week schedule period.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The ideal candidate will work in a 40-bed unit focusing on providing compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout their treatment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including total joint and surgical patients.
• Monitor telemetry patients, ensuring effective communication of vital signs and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient care accurately.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and patient confidentiality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• ACLS certification required.
• A minimum of two years of recent acute care RN experience.
• Telemetry experience with a patient ratio management of 1:6.
