BIM Designer
Responsibilities:
- Build 3D models using field superintendent layouts in Revit and Navisworks.
- BIM coordination including clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage.
- Upload our models and follow the GC lead BIM coordination process through to Model sign off.
- Mentor and train Detailers in the production of the detailed shop drawings.
- Work with and maintain relationships with our operation team, the General Contractor, and MEP Trade team members.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of PEI's Revit templates, details, and graphic standards.
- Produce Bill of materials for procurement/labor tracking.
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED required.
- 2-5 Years' Experience in performing Computer aided drafting in the Commercial Construction industry. Electrical Construction experience is a plus.
- CAD associate's degree and/or working experience required.
- Proficient with Autodesk Revit production software.
- Ability to work with Navisworks to view and extract information from the BIM model.
