Production Operator

Production Operator | 1st Shift | $20-22+HR | DIRECT HIRE We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Production Operator for our 1st Shift, which runs from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. This role offers competitive hourly pay and the opportunity for a direct hire position. The ideal candidate will have experience with tow motor operations as well as machine and chemical operating. Responsibilities Successfully complete departmental training programs and maintain required skill levels. Train other plant employees in equipment operation and process procedures. Safely and accurately operate all equipment associated with production processes, using prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Identify, stage, and procure raw materials according to published formulas. Maintain accurate production records, including pounds used, lot numbers, and waste or spillage reporting. Independently produce batches from approved formulations, including weighing, mixing, extruder charging, pelletizing, and completing master-batch processes. Set up production processes, deliver samples to Quality Control, and adjust processes per QC feedback. Perform basic equipment maintenance. Operate cleaning equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area. Essential Skills Experience in machine operating, chemical mixing, and production processes. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel flights of stairs. Experience with tow motor operations. Clean-shaven for respirator use. Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
