Job Responsibilities

Provide pre operative assessment, anesthesia planning, and intra operative management for surgical cases.
Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care in accordance with best practice guidelines.
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Document anesthesia care in the electronic medical record promptly and accurately.
Participate in call coverage, weekend assignments, and occasional holiday shifts as required.
Support additional hospitals within the regional system when needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
Active RN license in the state of practice.
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
Minimum of 2 years anesthesia experience in a hospital setting.
Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges and credentialing.
Working Hours

Day shifts, Monday-Friday (typical 8 hour day).
On call and weekend duties as needed, with possible coverage of two of four winter holidays if the assignment begins before Thanksgiving.
Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology and techniques.
Proficient airway management and ventilation skills.

Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation standards.
