Job Summary

Qualifications: 1. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements 2. Certified by State of Alabama 3. Meet physical and medical requirements 4. Must be insurable Job Goal: Operates school bus Essential Functions: 1. Inspects school bus before operation 2. Observes designated routes 3. Obeys Federal, State and Local rules and regulations 4. Completes written reports as required 5. Maintains clean school bus 6. Reports all bus mechanical problems 7. Reports student discipline problems 8. Lifting, driving 9. Performs other related duties as assigned

Duty Days: 184

Salary Range: According to Madison County Schools Salary Schedule. Actual salary will be determined by rank and experience. Current employees with questions regarding step placement on the salary schedule should contact the Personnel Department.
