The equivalency review is an independent process for district wide disciplines that is separate from the recruitment process to fill a vacancy. A subcommittee of discipline experts that is coordinated by an Academic Senate President will review the equivalency materials and make a recommendation as to whether or not the applicant demonstrated they have qualifications that are equivalent to those shown in the minimum qualifications section of the job posting.
