Have you ever thought about how you can make difference inour community by serving others? That is the magic of being a volunteer with Amedisys Hospice. You can be doing the very things that you enjoy the most while making an impact in another's life. We work with you to match your interests, skills, and passions to meet the greatest needs of our patients and their families. You might choose to visit patients and discuss last night's football game, assist with household chores, gardening, or reading to a patient. Or you can prepare baked goods and/or meals that our staff can deliver to patients, and you can deliver as well. If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer. Amedisys Hospice gives patients who are facing a life-limiting illness the freedom to live ALL the days of their lives by offering comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
