Substance Use Counselor (LCDC)(LCDC-I) Are you passionate about inspiring people to be the best they can be? Then join us! We are searching for a full‑time Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor‑Intern for our Houston Adult Outpatient Program. Our Houston location provides outpatient substance use disorder treatment services to people over the age of 18. Bilingual Spanish speaking is strongly preferred. May be required to provide services at multiple locations (East End and Northside). Qualifications LCDC or LCDC‑I in good standing in Texas with previous experience counseling in the substance use field. Valid Texas driver’s license and a clear driving record. Drug screen and background check required. Availability: Monday through Friday with three evenings a week. Skills Professional communication and ability to remain calm in tense situations. Strong organizational and written documentation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and inspire confidence and leadership by example. Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis. Knowledge of DSM‑5 and ASAM criteria. Familiarity with CMBHS preferred.
