Team members work collaboratively in a supportive environment with opportunities for career growth, cross-functional learning, and potential consideration for future direct employment based on performance and business needs.Position SummaryThe Quality Inspector I is responsible for inspecting and testing products to ensure compliance with established quality standards, engineering specifications, and operational requirements. This role supports quality assurance activities throughout the product lifecycle, contributes to continuous improvement efforts, and helps maintain the highest standards of product reliability and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of products and components to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements.Conduct incoming inspections of supplier-provided materials and products.Perform RMA (Return Material Authorization) inspections and evaluate returned products for defects or discrepancies.Execute shipping inspections to ensure products meet quality standards prior to customer delivery.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and test procedures.Document and maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and quality data.Identify, segregate, and reject non-conforming material in accordance with established procedures.Use precision measurement tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers.Analyze inspection data and perform calculations to determine compliance with product requirements.Communicate findings and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality process enhancements.Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.QualificationsRequired Education & ExperienceAssociate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.0-2 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, production, or a related environment.Required SkillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.Knowledge of quality control principles and production processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform measurements and calculations.Proficiency using inspection tools and measuring equipment.Why Join This Team?Gain hands-on experience across multiple quality inspection functions.Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.Exposure to aerospace and advanced technology products used globally.Opportunities for professional development and cross-functional learning.Potential pathway to future direct employment based on performance and business needs.Contribute to products that help transform the passenger experience in commercial aviation.Location: OnsiteExperience Level: Entry Level (0-2 Years)Employment Type: Contract with potential for future direct-hire opportunities based on performance and business needs.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Lake Forest, CA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
