Audiologist Audiologist in Murrieta, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an itinerant audiologist for the remainder of the school year. This full-time role, based in the Murrieta, CA area, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by enhancing students' communication abilities and access to learning. You'll work standard 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch, totaling 37.5 hours per week, traveling between multiple school sites within the district.


Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid state licensure and certification as an Audiologist
• Prior experience in a school environment preferred, but not required
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and reporting skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities to manage an itinerant schedule
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational setting

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform hearing screenings, diagnostic assessments, and auditory evaluations for students
• Monitor and interpret test results, determining eligibility for services and making recommendations
• Coordinate and oversee fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assistive hearing devices
• Develop and implement individualized plans and recommendations within IEP teams
• Document services provided, progress notes, and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
• Provide education and support to staff, students, and parents on hearing health and accommodations
