Advanced Wound Care Center Position

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Contract will end on 09/06/2025. Required skills/certs/exp: Minimum years of experience: 2 years of minimum experience. Traveler experience: Unit will accept 1st time travelers. Locals accepted/rate difference: Yes. EPIC required. Work setting skills: Outpatient experience. Wound/ulcer assessment & management: Neuropathic ulcer assessment & management, peripheral arterial ulcer assessment & management, pressure ulcer assessment, tunneling, undermining, venous status ulcer assessment & management. Identification/management of risk factors impacting skin integrity: Venous ulcer. Professional knowledge and skills: Patient/family teaching. Certs: Must have NC state license.

Preferred skills/certs/exp: Work setting skills: Clinic work setting. Wound/ulcer assessment & management: Pressure ulcer management. Identification/management of risk factors impacting skin integrity: Burns 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th degree, pressure ulcer & necrotic debris. Pressure ulcer staging: Stage I - Stage IV. Wound treatments/dressings: Alginates, autolytic debriding agents, electrical stimulation, enzymatic debriding agents, foams, growth factors, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, silver products, skin substitutes, vacuum assisted closure, wet to damp dressing change, wound cultures & wound vac therapy. Professional knowledge and skills: Infection control. Certs: BLS.

Job details: Ratios: 12-16 patients per day. Shift: 40 hours can be offered. Unit will accept 13 weeks! 8 hour days; 08:00 - 16:30, Monday - Friday. Call requirement: None. Float requirement: None. Weekend requirement: None. Special procedures/unit details: Advanced wound care center. Unit systems: EPIC required. Scheduling type: Per the clinic needs. Unit orientation: 12 hours. Scrubs: Navy and they are not provided.
