Base pay range

$250,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yr

Location: New York

Salary: $250,000 - 275,000 + bonus

Piper Maddox is currently partnered with a scaling renewable energy investment business as they continue to scale their US presence. With a number of portfolio companies, the CFO will oversee the entire finance infrastructure, and build long term strategy growth.

This role is critical to their success moving forwards and gives the opportunity to play a key role in developing an industry leading platform. The successful candidate will oversee strategy, and have the opportunity to build a team of experts to overs the corporate finance function.

What you will do:

• Work closely with the CEO and investment partners to develop long term roadmap for the organization.
• Oversee sourcing and deployment of capital for the entire business including tax equity, debt and construction finance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning across environmental commodities, solar, EV infrastructure, and startup investments.
• Lead on ongoing financial success and reporting of an ever evolving and expanding renewable energy development business.
• Build a team of finance professionals to oversee the various finance verticals.

What you will have:

• 10+ years in finance leadership roles—assets/project-heavy industries, preferably in renewables, infrastructure, or investment firms
• A depth of experience with building complex finance functions, including strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
