Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician III role in Burlington, WA.

· Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced solar stringer machines used in the automation of solar panel production.
· Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on process automation equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal efficiency.
· Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and equipment modifications.
· Calibrate, align, and test machine systems to ensure accuracy in soldering and string formation processes.
· Use advanced diagnostic tools, schematics, and software interfaces to support troubleshooting and repair activities.
· Document all maintenance activities, including parts usage, repair actions, and equipment performance data.
· Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on technical procedures and safe practices.
· Adhere to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure compliance with workplace and equipment safety standards.

· Associate’s degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 5+ years of experience as a high-level Maintenance Technician, preferably in automation or advanced manufacturing.
· Strong knowledge of process automation, robotics, PLCs, servo systems, and high-speed automated machinery.
· Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
· Experience with soldering or precision assembly processes is a plus.
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
· Willingness to work swing shifts and adapt to changing production needs.
