Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician

Seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician with at least two years of clinical experience treating patients of all ages and a commitment to academic and patient-centered excellence.

Job Duties

We're seeking energetic core faculty to join our 6+6+6 Family Medicine Residency Program in Northeastern Pennsylvania at one of the nation's leading integrated health systems. Why this role matters: You're teaching, mentoring and inspiring future family medicine providers in a supportive, innovative environment. In addition to curriculum development, you'll support resident recruitment, didactic instruction and simulation training.

What the role offers:

• An opportunity to precept a resident led Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) clinic
• 60% FTE dedicated to resident teaching
• No inpatient or OB coverage
• Faculty appointment with Geisinger College of Health Sciences

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation - salary ranges from $320k to $375k based on experience
• Recruitment incentives up to $250,000 (not applicable for internal, lateral transfers)
• Continuing medical education - 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds
• Paid relocation (not applicable for internal, lateral transfers)
• Retirement plans - 401k, 403(b), and 457(b)

Position Details

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at least two years of clinical experience treating patients of all ages and be American Boards of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Boards of Family Medicine (AOBFM) board certified. Prior teaching experience (residents and/or students) is preferred.
