SorterThe Sorter role is responsible for verifying, scanning, and organizing parts to ensure accurate sequencing and proper placement within designated locations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production flow, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.Key Responsibilities:Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard work instructions at all timesVerify and scan parts to ensure correct sequencing and placementConfirm all totes and containers are empty prior to processing and documentationEnsure containers are staged accurately in designated locationsPerform visual quality checks on packaging and materialsMaintain accuracy and attention to detail in all sorting activitiesSupport operational efficiency by adhering to established workflows and processesQualifications:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to distinguish between colors accuratelyHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow standardized processes and instructionsPrevious warehouse or logistics experience preferredMust be able to pass a criminal background checkMust be able to pass a drug screeningWork Environment:Warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levelsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basisRequired use of Personal Protective Equipment while on the shop floorExposure to moving equipment and operational activity within the facilityWhy Join Schnellecke Logistics:Schnellecke Logistics is a global, family-owned logistics provider with more than 80 years of experience supporting automotive and industrial supply chains.
