Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The Medical Surgical Oncology Floor (MS ONC) registered nurse position is located in an oncology care setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and other oncology treatments. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts, offering a consistent work schedule and the opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and comfort. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required; Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) membership is recommended. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in oncology and chemotherapy administration; BMT (Blood and Marrow Transplant) experience is preferred. Additional Information: No call or holiday requirements. Weekends may be scheduled as needed, with occasional weekends every six weeks depending on department needs. Floating is very rare; if no work on the Blood and Marrow Transplant unit, staffing may be moved to the Medical Surgical Floor to meet hours requirements. The nurse to patient ratio is typically 2:1 or 3:1.
