Our Universal Bankers provide superb customer service while accurately and expeditiously processing a variety of retail banking tasks while displaying a positive upbeat demeanor and meeting all of Millennium Bank Universal standards and adhering to compliance requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides service to all new and existing accounts according to bank policies and procedures. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Cashing checks in accordance with financial institution procedures, ensures that funds are appropriately disbursed and collected and completes Hold Notices if needed. Processing deposits and withdrawals to savings, checking accounts, and lines of credit. Transferring money between accounts. Processing transactions such as term deposits, retirement savings plan contributions, automated teller transactions, night deposits, and mail deposits. Assisting customers with Debit Card orders/maintenance. Processing loan payments & payoffs. Issuing cashier’s checks Making cash advances on credit cards Balance and maintain the ATM as assigned or required. Processing customer transactions efficiently, professionally, and accurately. Answers basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies. Balances cash drawer at end of shift (Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary). Buys, sells, and assists with currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring that cash drawer limits are not exceeded. Participates in cross-training and sales, service and product training meetings as requested. Proficient in the account opening process for all deposit accounts, including, but not limited to: savings, checking, money market, and business accounts. Builds exceptional knowledge of products and services to maintain rapport with customers, understand their needs, and provide solutions. Provides a complete range of services at the financial institution, including opening new accounts, explaining available financial institution products and services, and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts as well as provides back up to the assistant branch manager as needed. 2+ years of cash handling and customer service preferred Previous experience working directly with the public preferred Benefits Company paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance 401k Plan with employer matching Employee Assistance Plan Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy Up to 11 paid Holidays Millennium Bank is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
