Production Shift Leader - 2nd Shift

We are partnering with a client to identify a Production Shift Leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a team on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, and production while fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment. This is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on operations and team performance.

Production Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop production team members
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards (including GMPs)
• Oversee daily production schedules and troubleshoot operational issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency and cost reduction
• Monitor performance metrics and support corrective actions
• Coordinate staffing and training for the shift

Requirements for Production Shift Leader:

• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)
