As an essential member of the perioperative team, the RN First Assistant (RNFA) plays a crucial role in providing direct patient care by assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. This position requires demonstrated expertise acquired through specialized training, formal education, and supervised practice. Job Description SIGN-ON BONUS: $30,000 available to external candidates in accordance with Health System policy. Education Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Certification & Licensure RN-Registered Nurse of California. CNOR-Certified Perioperative Nurse. BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. Typical Experience Minimum of 5 years of recent relevant experience. Three years of experience as an RN in the Operating Room, encompassing both circulator and scrub roles.
