Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Location: Beverly Hills, California; Onsite

Position Summary


As a Paraprofessional, you will provide academic, behavioral, and personal support services to students within a school-based setting across various grade levels. This role supports students with IEPs by assisting with classroom instruction, behavior management, daily routines, and personal care needs while collaborating closely with teachers and school staff. Responsibilities include supporting student learning, promoting positive behaviors, and helping students access educational environments safely and successfully. Responsibilities

Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: School-day schedule, Monday-Friday
• Hours per week: Full time
• Contract length: School-based assignment

Key Duties

• Support implementation of student IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Assist with classroom instruction, behavior management, and daily routines
• Accurately collect and document behavioral and academic data
• Utilize CPI de-escalation strategies when necessary to support student safety
• Provide hands-on support including toileting, diapering, feeding, and mobility assistance as needed
• Engage and support students across multiple school settings including classrooms, playgrounds, and transitions
• Collaborate with teachers, behavioral teams, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Education

• Required: Must meet one of the following:
• Passing score on the Paraprofessional Exam
• Completion of at least 48 college credit hours
• Associate's degree or higher

Licenses & Certifications

• Additional certifications: CPI Certification preferred

Skills

• Comfortable supporting students with toileting, diapering, and personal care needs
• Strong teamwork, communication, patience, and reliability skills
• Ability to remain active and engaged throughout the school day
• Ability to follow structured behavior plans consistently
• Previous experience in special education or behavioral settings preferred
