Quasent, Inc. is looking for several Senior Substation Engineers . As a Substation Engineer with Quasent you will help with the physical design of substations for our clients nationwide. These roles can be full-time or contract based. Remote opportunities available as well.
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of Substation design experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience with 3D software programs such as AutoCAD, Microstation, Inventor, Bentley, Solidworks, Revit.
- Strong design experience with substation electrical equipment layout, conduit design, grounding design, lighting design, lightning protection design.
- Strong understanding of site layout logistics for substation equipment.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office 356.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
- P.E. Certification is a plus but not necessary.
- Experienced in substation physical design.
- Experience in directly related to working with electricity, preferably in utilities.
