Transportation Driver – CNA

Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and compassionate CNA/Transportation Driver to join our team!

In this role, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for our residents while also assisting with their care and safety during appointments and outings. We are specifically seeking CNAs who are interested in combining their caregiving skills with transportation responsibilities , helping ensure residents receive the support they need while away from the facility.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport residents to and from physician appointments, therapy visits, community outings, and other scheduled activities.

• Accompany residents to appointments and provide appropriate CNA-level support as needed.

• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle and ensure their comfort and safety throughout transportation.

• Provide resident care and supervision during appointments when needed.

• Communicate transportation arrangements with families and facility staff as needed.

• Confirm and coordinate residents' appointments and transportation schedules.

• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.

• Maintain accurate transportation logs and complete required documentation.

• Assist with clerical duties related to resident appointments, transfers, and discharges as needed.

• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.

• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.

• No more than three (3) motor vehicle record entries, including accidents, moving violations, or failures to appear.

• No convictions for DUI/DWI, reckless driving, hit-and-run, refusal to submit to testing, or other disqualifying offenses.

• Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.

• Previous healthcare transportation experience is preferred but not required.
