HR Recruiter

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company's standards.
- Demonstrates professionalism, dignity, and respect towards individuals supported, co-workers, management, and other associates both within the organization and outside of the company.
- Serves as a constant positive role model with the individuals supported, team members, co-workers, management, and others both within the organization and outside the company
- Acts in a fair and objective manner in all transactions
- Functions as an effective contributing member of the HR team to maintain the integrity of the HR function
- Assists with the development of staffing processes and recruitment plans to ensure best possible staffing outcome for the organization
- Maintains strict standards of confidentiality regarding agency staff and clients and employee records
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements before start date by all new hires
- Complies with all policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
- Maintains general current knowledge of state and federal employment law.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify hiring criteria.
- Utilizes efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assists with job posting processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with leadership and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Conducts new employee orientation
- Collaborates with leadership regarding involuntary and internal employee movement
- Responds to basic employee inquires
- Tracks, enters, and administers information required in the company's HR system
- Utilizes computer equipment and programs to provide efficient and effective communication and workflow.
- Completes reports to update leadership related to staffing activities and issues. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Provides full documentation of all expenditures made on behalf of the company in the form of petty cash, personal expense reimbursements, or other related disbursements.
- Makes all expenditures within amounts approved by immediate supervisor or appropriate management personnel.
- Makes cost-effective advertising decisions, in collaboration with leadership utilizing available metrics
- Reports immediately any discrepancies related to the use of personal or company funds.
- Performs other job-related tasks, duties, and responsibilities from time to time as requested by leadership.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related area and a minimum of one-year of human resources or related experience is preferred.
- Experience with staffing/recruitment or benefits is preferred as is fundamental knowledge of Employment Law and the corresponding regulations.
