The Teller/Member Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional member service by processing financial transactions accurately, assisting members with their banking needs, answering telephone inquiries, and performing a variety of administrative and office support duties. This position contributes to the overall success of the credit union by maintaining a welcoming, professional environment and supporting daily branch operations. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all members.
• Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cash advances, and check cashing.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, respond to member inquiries, and direct calls as appropriate.
• Assist members with opening and maintaining accounts, debit card requests, online banking, and other credit union services.
• Educate members about credit union products and services and identify opportunities to meet their financial needs.
• Receive, verify, and process member documents and paperwork.
• File member records and maintain organized, accurate filing systems in accordance with record retention policies.
• Perform general administrative duties, including copying, scanning, mailing, and data entry.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, teller area, break room, and other common areas to ensure a professional appearance.
• Assist with opening and closing branch procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and comply with all credit union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support coworkers and perform other duties as assigned to meet the operational needs of the credit union.
