RN - MedSurg

Registered Nurse - MedSurg 3 North - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our MedSurg 3 North unit. As a new opening in our facility, you will be part of a 32-bed department with patient ratios of 5:1 during day shifts and 6:1 at night. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and will be equipped with the necessary skills and experience to thrive in our dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for MedSurg patients based on established protocols.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other team members to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Meditech EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license and BLS certification.
• Preferred: 3 years of nursing experience, particularly in a MedSurg/Telemetry environment.
