What You'll Do Assemble metal hatches and panels using drills, torque tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures. Read blueprints to complete accurate mechanical assemblies. Prepare panels for painting by installing insulation and hanging parts on racks. Package finished assemblies to meet customer specifications. Cross-train across departments to support production needs. Troubleshoot basic fit and function issues using mechanical aptitude. Follow all safety procedures while working with tools and metal components. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly. What You Bring At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience. Ability to read blueprints and accurately use a tape measure. Comfort using hand tools and power tools. Mechanical aptitudeauto shop or auto body experience is a plus. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a hands-on metal manufacturing environment. Attention to detail and willingness to cross-train. Work Environment You'll work in a metal manufacturing setting similar to an auto body shophands-on, fast-paced, and tool-driven. The facility is non-union, and you'll spend most of your time on the production floor assembling components, preparing panels, and supporting multiple departments. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
