Entry-Level Machinist

Pay: Up to $27/hour Location: Cambridge, MN

Looking to start a career in manufacturing? We are hiring motivated individuals who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and learning new skills. No CNC experience is required. If you have mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, automotive experience, construction experience, or simply a strong interest in machining, we want to hear from you.

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture high-quality precision parts.
• Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper setup before production begins.
• Monitor machine performance and production processes, including automated equipment with robotic arms.
• Follow work instructions and production documents to ensure accurate manufacturing.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Verify parts meet specifications and identify any quality concerns.
• Communicate equipment, material, or production issues to supervisors and team members.
• Learn CNC machining processes and continuously develop your technical skills.

• At least 6 months of manufacturing, machine operation, construction, automotive, maintenance, shop class, or other mechanically related experience.
• Comfortable working around tools, machinery, and production equipment.
• Ability to follow written instructions and production procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Interest in CNC machining and manufacturing technology.
• Positive attitude with a desire to ask questions, receive feedback, and grow your skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cambridge, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
