Information Technology Specialist

Duration: 3–6 Month Contract with the potential to extend or convert to a full-time opportunity. Please Note: One week of onsite training in New York City is required. About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced IT Office Support Consultant to join its Technology Support team in Washington, DC. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role supporting professionals in a fast‑paced corporate environment. You'll be responsible for providing white‑glove desktop support, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a seamless end‑user experience. Responsibilities Provide onsite desktop and end‑user support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals. Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows workstations, laptops, printers, and iPhones. Resolve hardware, software, operating system, networking, VPN, and Citrix issues. Log and document incidents, service requests, and resolutions. Support workstation deployments, onboarding/offboarding, conference room technology, and office moves. Partner with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues. Qualifications 3+ years of desktop support or end‑user support experience in a professional environment. Strong experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, VPN, Citrix, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP). Experience supporting desktop hardware, mobile devices, printers, and AV equipment. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Previous law firm or professional services experience is a plus.
